Hello there! 😊 The format of the NCLEX exam is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) designed to assess a candidate's nursing competence. It consists of multiple-choice, multiple-response, fill-in-the-blank calculations, ordered responses, and hotspot questions. The number of questions varies for each candidate, with a minimum of 75 to a maximum of 145 questions for the NCLEX-RN and a minimum of 85 to a maximum of 205 questions for the NCLEX-PN. The exam has a maximum time limit of 6 hours for the NCLEX-RN and 5 hours for the NCLEX-PN. The test covers four primary categories: Safe and Effective Care Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Psychosocial Integrity, and Physiological Integrity. Good luck with your exam preparations! 😊
